There has been speculation about the video and location of this gig. It has receantly been confirmed this 1st gig was not in The Arches and was in a WH.

StuJWarby - I helped 'work the door' on Steve Adj's events. One minor point. The first (July 20th) Stones Roses show was actually in a warehouse 'proper' rather than the railway arch. There were (maybe still are) a row of 'one-storey, prefabricated concrete' warehouses just 'set down' from street level.'
