One of their best on the whole reunion tour if not of their career. Ian Brown’s vocals are spot on and the band really tight. They seem in jovial mood. Ian Brown jokes with the crowd and wears a hat someone has thrown on stage; he plays with Reni’s cymbal, mimics John as he plays guitar during Fools Gold and tab his forehead with a towel at the start of This is the One. At the end someone passes a Manchester United flag and Ian waves it and kisses it.

24 February 2013 Last day in Jakarta. Fans make a short video of the Roses checking out of the hotel, signing stuff and posing for pictures before leaving heading for New Zealand.

26 February 2013 The Roses play another triumphant gig at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the first time the Roses play New Zealand. The gig is another great one, despite them having problems – it appears – with their in ear monitors, which caused Waterfall to be restarted three times.

1 March 2013 The Riverstage, Brisbane, Australia ~ first gig in Oz since 1995 and first time ever with the classic line up (Reni had left the band in 1995). There seems to be more technical problems which annoy the band. They leave after Resurrection with a quick wave but no hug.

Apparently Ian was unhappy with the security at the show. A bouncer kicked out a female fan so Ian threw a bin at them. "...the girl being literally thrown out of the door by the bouncer. When Ian goes up to him I think he's motioning that she was only small and you're a big bloke.

At the end of the gig, he takes the piss out of the bouncer by announcing to the crowd that the "ladies need to watch out as there's a big man who'll throw you out if you're 5ft 2, eyes of blue"

This was the bands first show on American soil since 1995. Sometimes noted as 'Empire Polo Grounds'. Fools Gold includes the riff from Daytripper by The Beatles and the intro to Driving South too. Squire was said to be annoyed at what he saw as Brown’s weak effort.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday 17 April 2013 at 09:30.
The Stone Roses, minus Reni, made a rare public appearance alongside director Shane Meadows (Director) and Mark Herbert (Producer).

Fans were able to ask Shane & Mark their questions, after the premiere, live at the event or from cinemas around the country via Twitter. The event was satellite-linked simultaneously broadcast to 100 cinemas nationwide. See 05 June for the general release.

Regarding the filming Shane Meadows said: "People say that you can't recapture your youth, it'll never be the same second time round, but that's utter rubbish,", "The Roses were never allowed to reach their peak first time around so as far as I and millions of fans around the world were concerned, with this comeback the Roses could be even greater." He also said the film was not "a history lesson, nor is it a two hour concert film". "It is a film about defying the odds, sticking it to the man and telling the cynics to shut their pie-holes."

Regarding Reni's absence Ian Brown said he had "a really bad cold".

John Squire said: “(About a new LP) We’re working on it. It’ll be ready in about five years. We’ve got a few new songs. I can’t really tell you much about it. We won’t be playing the songs live until we’ve recorded them. We’re working on it this year.”
"We won't be playing any of them live until we've recorded it," Squire told the BBC's Colin Paterson on the red carpet.

Shane's greatest effort is Dead Man's Shoes.
Self-confessed Roses fan Shane Meadows said: "You hear people say 'never work with your idols, it can only go wrong' and I was a bit of a nervous wreck.

"Normally as a director you're in control, you have written a script, whereas on this I was following their lead."

The director, best known for his semi-autobiographic film and television series This Is England, said the documentary was as "much about the fans as the band".

He said: "They [the band] were really open with me, they gave me access to clips, photographs, things no-one has ever seen."

From 20 May 2016 NME Magazine: Chris Coghill (Friend of Mani and actor who starred in 2012 Stone Roses' related film Spike Island) said: ...They'd been at the studio in Crouch End for the last few weeks so I knew they were recording, but I was still sat there like a schoolkid listening to the radio. I spoke to Ian about it after the Finsbury Park gig (in 2013) - I asked him what the new material was sounding like. He said 'Fucking Top.'.
