Subject:       HELSINKI DATES

The Stone Roses played three great gigs in Finland, though we only saw two of them in Helsinki .Playlist was same on both dates (and the same as on other gigs). 

The fans were crazy about them, but the press didn t give them good reviews, mostly because of Ians behaviour. He was very bored, the only time when he actually moved was when he went to steal a camera from a press photographer. 

The second night was a lot better (this time we had our names on the band s guestlist) and even Ian seemed to be enjoying himself more. He was wearing a Santa Claus t-shirt, which he threw to the audience after the gig. Somebody gave him balloons and he played with them for a while. 

We actually met them before the first gig and some of them were (no names) very much on drugs, poor Ian almost got hit by a bus (we saved his life!)

We got backstage on both nights, the first party was better, because there were only about five other fans there and we had more time to chat with the Roses. John was tired but very, very, very, very sweet, he even took our names for the guestlists in Glasgow ( we ll soon live there)!!!!!! Ian still was angry about cameras and as a result photographing wasn t allowed the next night. 

The second backstage party wasn t as nice, because there were a lot of people there, so it wasn t as intimate. The Roses had brought a super furry thing with them, who was supposed to sell their t-shirts, but we caught him lying on the sofa instead. He was really anxious to be in every photo and in the end we agreed to take one close-up photo only of his super furry head. 

They all seemed pretty happy and Ian was dancing and smiling with Mani, who was cheerful as always. Unfortunately John had to leave early; it was the bed time for his guitar and he had to take it back to the hotel, though John himself wasn t feeling so sleepy. 

We really enjoyed both gigs and can t wait to meet them and see them on stage in Glasgow in December!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We feel sorry for the fans who didn t manage to get tickets for the UK tour, but don t worry, we ll give you our all-revealing reviews afterwards.
