I guess that it's now time to confess.
Yes, I was young, yes, I was foolish and yes, what a wanker.
When I had just turned twelve one of my friends gave me a tape, great I thought.
Upon this magical magnetic masterpiece was a work of art, no not "Jackson Pollock's number five" but one album with two slices of lemon on the front cover. I thought it was great, I loved Waterfall and She Bangs the Drums, but then as tends to happen to twelve year old boys, somebody taped me Guns and Roses. AAAARRRGH! I'm so sorry.
Still 1993 arrived and I'd advanced a bit but then so did '94. The Second Coming.
I was'nt immediately impressed, it took about a year and loads of growing up and then I realised, what had I been playing at!
Jesus I'm a fool.
Hey we all make mistakes and I'm now truly resurrected as a proper human being.
I guess it comes from being a Northern Catholic, all this confession but it don't half make you feel better!
Thanks for Listening
Steve
