Here is my review of the gig at Wolves which I attended last night.Last night I witnessed the Stone Roses play live for the very first time, and I really felt as if I had attended something which everyone there will remember for the rest of their days. The Roses once agin as with the opening night had no support act, but the time flew by as we eagerly awaited their much hyped arrival. When they finally came on at 9pm the place erupted, and I have never witnessed an audience go so mad for a band - it even beat Oasis at Glasto 95.They came onto the intro to Breaking and the flashing strobes hid thier arrival "Have ya missed us" cried Ian and the band broke out into Adored. MADhere is the song line up from what I can remeber

I Wanna Be Adored
She Bangs The Drums
Waterfall
Ten Storey Love Song
Daybreak
Begging You (i think)
Your Star Will Shine
Tears
Tightrope
How Do You Sleep
Breaking Into Heaven
Love Spreads
Driving South
Made of Stone
I am The Resurection

Good times was played in between Loves Spreads and Driving SouthIt felt like a failry long set and I think they finshed at around 10:45pm which felt pretty early although they were on for a while.HighlightsRobbies and Nigels excellent backing vocalsRobbies superb drumming - easily as good as ReniKeyboard middle to Love Spreads (as on HELP)Adored, Drums,Waterfall and ResurrectionGood Times and Love spreadsAND OF COURSE - Made of STONEIt was a truly excellent gig - Ians voice is stilla bit dodgy at times but is vastly improved - John Squire completely takes the piss with an unbelievable display of guiatr playing. the band sound solid as ever and the vibe created was unbelievable. Also the lights on the stage are execllent but as Ian said "There fookin bright" and then said to the crowd "I werent fookin talkin to you" If your going to see them soon I only hope they were as good as they were last night.

THE STONE ROSES ARE BACK - LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL AGAIN

I'd just like to add to this by saying it was a truly marvellous experience - grandad, tell me about when you saw the Roses type stuff! They didn't play Begging You or How do you sleep, by the way; I can't remember the playlist but I know they didn't play those two 'cos my next door neighbour went and in the first time I've ever spoken to him I remember him saying that he was disappointed there was no How do...Ian's voice was surprisingly good - especially in the acoustic stuff. There were lots of old(ish) folks there dancing like your parents which spoilt it a bit - I'm getting close to that age myself!!! The other annoying thing was all the little 16 year olds moshing like it was Nirvana or someit...I couldn't believe the touts were charging 70 quid outside, mind you if you've got a job and not got a ticket it's still worth it! I'm a very hard up Finalist and wouldn't have sold my ticket for 200 quid!!!Well, if you're going this month

 ENJOY IT!

November 30th - Right down at the front of the stage! The intro is playing, the crowd - under standably rowdy after a FIVE YEAR wait! The smoke rools from the side of this stage that is to witness the resurection.Sounds of nature eminate from the stacks either side of the stage. The roses walk on.....A while later a crowd of extatic, exaused people stager from the Wolverhampton Civic hall having just witnessed an event of such monumental wonderfulnes that speech has no meaning.I was one of those people

!!!!!!WHAT A GIG!!!!!!
