By now I'm sure most of you will have heard of the Stone Roses if not then get ready for something completely different from the boring insignificant music around at the moment A band with excitement, mania, originality and talent

They've been called Psychedelic revivalists and described as reminiscent '77 punk, but as far as the band are concerned they totally disagree.

"Both types of music are completely different" says Ian "It just shows we can't be put into a category"

"If people want to know what we sound like then they'll have to come and see us live or buy the single " continued John The Stone Roses are out to entertain and excite and when they say entertain they mean it

Over the last few years the attraction of going to see a band live has dropped " says Ian Everybody wants to go to disco's they've had enough of going to see bands who all sound the same ".

"We aim to change all that " continues Reni "We want people to come back to gigs, make every one an event and most of all we want people to talk about it like they used to "

The debut single 'So Young' b/w 'Tell Me' , produced by Martin Hannett should be out sometime this month But the band are not interested in just getting the single distributed around Britain

It's just as important to make it in Germany France or Holland" explains Ian, So we're hoping to release it all over, we're also going to sort out some European dates to coincide with the single "

When asked how much success the band wanted, of it "
"We're either going to be massive or fizzle out totally there's not going to be an inbetween for this band "
